RESISTO Reflective Insulation Products Join the SOPREMA Brand
Dear Partners,
We would like to inform you of a change in our line of reflective insulation. From now on, these products will be marketed under the SOPREMA brand instead of the RESISTO one.
Since its founding in 1996 as a division of SOPREMA, RESISTO’s mission has always been to offer high-performance insulation and waterproofing solutions. However, in order to benefit from a single and consistent brand identity, we are bringing under the SOPREMA brand all insulation products sold by our divisions. Thus, our reflective insulation products will now be called SOPRA-FOIL, aligning with our other insulation lines, such as SOPRA-CELLULOSE and SOPRA-XPS.
This change is part of a larger brand repositioning plan, which will be unveiled in due course. Please be assured, however, that only the name and packaging are changing, and that the products themselves will stay the same in terms of lines, performance or codes. Note that in the short term, both packaging formats may temporarily coexist on shelves during this transition, and that we will provide our merchandisers with appropriate display materials accordingly.
As a reminder, our reflective insulation products are thermal solutions designed to reduce radiant heat transfer by reflecting heat instead of absorbing it. They generally consist of one or more low-emissivity surfaces, often metallized, combined with air gaps. They install easily and quickly, reduce condensation and air infiltration, and offer exceptional versatility for various applications: walls, attics, under concrete slabs, subfloors, ventilation ducts, water heaters, and much more.
Moreover, we are proud to highlight that these products are made in Canada, specifically in the province of Québec, and are now accredited with the “Well Made Here” label.
